What build of linux do you recommend?

Hello!
Please advise assembly or distribution (I don’t know how to do it right :) ) linux for writing to a USB flash drive.
So the basic requirements are:

  • Installed on an 8gb flash drive
  • without deprivation (it will be used only for the browser in kiosk mode and the page is spinning on flash)
  • not demanding on resources

It lags on ubuntu :(
maybe some kind of mint or something else?

For such purposes,
Debian Stable in NetInstall mode is the best choice for you.
With NW.js installed in Kiosk mode.
