What books are better to read in order to have a general picture of databases?

Hello. I know practically nothing about databases, I worked a little with MySQL. I would like to read books that will help to understand this area. Most often I find books that talk about one type of database (for example: relational databases) or about one specific database. I want to know about all types, their possible areas of application, etc. Please advise.

For a general understanding, it’s a good idea to start with this one, despite the name, there is an overview of many types of bases, and there it’s already detailed to smoke what is not clear.
