What are your impressions of using the menu?

I made a small menu and I want to know your general impression of interacting with it, tips for improvement. What should I change?

Page created for Home link only. When you click on other links, you will only see a visual transition to the page. All elements will disappear and it will seem that the menu is frozen. Therefore - only Home.

It is necessary to display menu items always. And hide in the menu only for mobile devices with a width < 640.
Well, no offense, but I didn’t quite understand what you did there, that “impressions” should appear directly - the animation of the appearance of items? If yes, then personally I don't like all this floating-flickering garbage, but I do not rule out that someone likes it.

impression of interacting with him

It breaks the brain. If the menu open button is on the right, then the menu is expected on the right. And it's on the left.
It is worth adding a delay for animations. Make them "lazy". At the moment, if you quickly move the mouse over the menu items, then the blocks begin to twitch in different directions. The animation should only be activated if the mouse is hovered over the menu item for longer than a certain amount of time.
PS: After interacting with the menu, it breaks. Or disappears or simply stops responding to pressing. Apparently this is the very moment when the designer can no longer cope and you need to do everything by hand.

Clicked on "menu". Then to About. Hop, blank page, everything hangs, no elements. Pressed the menu button again. Nothing. Then back to the menu button. Appeared, but does not work. Everything hung up in the end.
Impressions are bad.
