What are the simplest/popular SNMP "probes" for Linux?
Hello, I'm just starting to understand the wisdom of SNMP - my task is to find a free snmp supervision probe for Linux - but the problem is that I don't quite understand what it is about.
It's one thing - requests like snmpget localhost -v 2c -c public .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9.0
but as I understand it, we are talking about some kind of ready-made script that can be installed on Linux and which will do the same.
In a word, if you tell me at least in which direction to start looking, I will be very grateful.

Yes, we are talking about monitoring cpu and disk space, for example.
snmp itself is usually of little interest to anyone and only its simplest readers do it. Usually it is considered as part of the network monitoring technology, but it usually involves not only snmp.
I use a bunch of perl scripts that can show this and that...
Support TyzhSysAdmin
Now linux hosts to monitor via snmp is not relevant. snmp is mainly used for network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) and other devices that, apart from snmp, do not support any other monitoring.
Describe your problem and you will be advised on relevant solutions.
