What are the requirements for a junior front-end developer for 2020-2021?
I have been studying front-end for about half a year.(do not rush)
I know html, I can use BEM, I have practiced adaptive layout / cross-browser, and I am also familiar with the mobile-first approach, css, I am practicing sass and starting to learn bootstrap, javascript (I know the basics and basic concepts + es6), I started to study React, but temporarily postponed jq in my plans for now, I am also familiar with gulp and git.
It would seem (at least to me) that knowledge is enough for a simple job (namely, freelancing, an office is not yet an option), but when you visit various exchanges, you fall into a small stupor.
What exactly are we talking about? I would like to ask if it is possible with my set of knowledge to take at least some orders? Money is not particularly interesting, real practice is important. If you look at well-known exchanges in the CIS at least, most orders, to put it mildly, scare my current amount of knowledge, in fairness there are also suitable ones, but to compete with 30 applications of experienced web developers are already far from the level of a junior, well, let's say, it's not a pleasant thing.
What is the minimum required for a beginner in the front-end to somehow start his way as a freelancer and what knowledge should a junior web developer have at the present time?

So you look at vacancies and you yourself cannot answer why you fall into a stupor? Then how will others respond to you?
P.s. Bootstrap and jiquery are rubbish, don't waste your time.
The requirements have not changed over the past 20 years.
Ability to work INDEPENDENTLY, look for a job and get a job.
If you can’t take a task on the stock exchange, then you are not ready to work on the stock exchange.
If you can’t pass the interview, then you are not ready to work in the office.
