What are the possible brakes on a virtual machine running Windows 7 under KVM / Qemu?

The systems of my machine:
core i5, 8 gig RAM without ssd. Installed Fedora.
I put a virtual machine under KVM, windows7. It seems that Windows itself works smartly, but the display of user input is very slow. What could be the problem, tell me please?
