What are the options for working with HiWatch recorders from the outside?
Tell me what are the options for programmatic work in the HiWatch (HikVision) registrars. I have a video surveillance system based on the DS-H204U recorder which is connected to the Internet. Everything works in a standard way and it is even possible to connect remotely using the Hikvision iVMS program.
I want to slightly expand the capabilities of the system due to self-written logic. For example, I want to write a program and put it on a VPS so that I can take archives or a video stream to the registrar in real time. What are the options to implement this? In the description for the registrar, I see a bunch of supported network protocols (TCP / IP, PPPoE, DHCP, Hik-connect Cloud P2P, DNS, DDNS, NTP, SADP, NFS, iSCSI, UPnP ™, HTTPS, ONVIF) but so far I haven’t googled anything something useful.
I would appreciate any information on this topic. Is there any python/nodejs that can be used?
