What are the nuances of working remotely?

Hello!
Now looking for a job. In my small town, it’s not very cool with her, but actively through hh.ru they offer to work remotely, mainly as a Bitrix developer.
I used to always work offline in the office, so I don't know what to expect.
I’ll clarify right away that all the companies that contacted me are located in other cities, and not only in the capitals and do not have branches where I live.
Offhand, such moments are confusing:
1. how to register at least for a gray salary, if the company is in another city? how to insure against scammers? What type of employment contract is usually concluded in such cases? is it possible to get a remote job so that the seniority goes?
2. sick leave, holidays - is it all real?
3. will mentoring also be difficult? I don't have enough experience to know everything and be able to solve any problem on my own. Previously, there was always a person nearby who could be asked for advice.
What other pitfalls might such work have?

1. You can go to white, you can work as an individual entrepreneur.
2. Real. Somewhere else and premiums are paid. Many companies pay vacation / sick leave / days off for employees working through individual entrepreneurs.
3. You can discuss tasks via Google Meet or Slack. Review code.
None in a normal company.

In general, remote work is processed normally if you worked in an office and asked to work from home in the same company. Then yes, they know you, make out and you don’t know grief. It is problematic if the company is in another city. Because those who formalize officially require sometimes to come.
Working remotely = no need for mentorship. They take remote specialists who can solve the problem from anywhere.

conclude contracts, work on an advance payment, there is an opportunity to officially get a job - ask the company about it.
ask the company, it all depends on their conditions. If this is not the case, then they should promise big salaries, then save from it for sick days and vacations. The main thing is to stipulate everything in advance, and if the salary is small, and even without buns in the form of vacation pay and other things, do not go there.
Now in such topics there are 2 camps. some - modern people, do not see the difference between hearing information from a source sitting a meter away from you and a source in the earphone, others - conservatives, they believe that only through personal communication is it possible to understand the interlocutor and nothing else. Depending on how you feel and you can find out if you are suitable for remote work.
Self-organization and motivation + clarity and transparency of conditions.

1. You can conclude an employment contract, in fact it is no different from a device in your city. This will be insurance against scammers. But throwing Junes is absurd. In a month they will bring losses rather than profit.
2. Really, if issued according to the Labor Code.
3. Really, although it is more difficult for a junior to find a remote worker than for an experienced specialist.
