Is it possible to find a remote job for a general IT specialist?

I have been working on my websites and applications for a long time. He was engaged in writing applications for Android and WP8, and the WEB part for them (sites with their own API) on a server with FreeBSD. Now I want to find a remote job. Most of all I am interested in android development. But I don’t know much about the theoretical part, like the names of patterns, I almost didn’t come across unit testing. Is it possible to find a remote under such conditions?
In fact, I can:
- write in PHP with MySQL / Redis
- write a moderately complex Perl script
- write a program for a computer using WinAPI / C ++
- write an application for Android or WP8 (I have not had to write games yet)
- set up and configure a WEB server on FreeBSD.
For all of the above, there are real products that confirm that I really can.
At the same time, I'm not good at orienting myself in patterns, I've never written games with graphics, I've almost never done unit testing. Given these shortcomings, I would agree to a lower salary for the first time.
Is it possible under the given conditions to get somewhere remotely?

If there is English, there are no problems at all - oDesk / Elance is entirely made around remote work and there are tens of thousands of customers / employers.
Even without English, you can find, especially mobile development - there is a shortage of specialists, many companies are ready to consider any candidates, incl. remotely. A recent example from Genie is a $3k hire from Novosibirsk and a $1500 front-end .
