What are the modern methods of teaching linux administration and bash scripts?
I am sometimes asked: where to start the path in linux administration? How to learn to use the command line? And other similar questions. But I can't recommend my own path, because it's a few decent-sized books and many years of practice - too long a start.
It would be best to recommend some online courses with practical tasks. Can you recommend something worthwhile in this direction?

There is only one method of teaching everything and everyone, including administration - to do. Set up a virtual machine, come up with tasks - and do it. Well, or for hardcore players - to put bare-metal. Any courses can cost money - after all, someone has to teach them, right?
Well, out of nowhere to buy VPS, etc. as well as starting to watch video courses on YouTube, I would not recommend it, but I will advise this.
Start with theory. As I understand now, beginners swim very strongly in understanding what tool is used for, for example, they said that Bash is ancient and use Python. Pretty controversial statement. Therefore, to begin with, read this book adm-lib.ru/books/3/Nemeth_UNIX_System_Administrati... This is a classic of the genre. After reviewing, you can already proceed to install any distribution kit on a virtual machine.
Install Arch or, at worst, Debian. And tinker with the console.
I support CityCat4 and Vladimir
