What are the H.264 AVC and H.265 HEVC encoding options for DVD quality?
There is a pack of DVD video discs (mostly standard, but there are a couple of DVD9), which would be nice to throw away, after ripping the contents onto the screw. At the same time, I want to shake the content in H.264 AVC or in H.265 HEVC (the answer is interesting in relation to both) so as to provide the maximum possible (with reasonable time, we don’t take super slow / placebo presets) provided that the full (well , conditionally, it is clear that nothing is perfect) lossless (in comparison with DVD) compression. I intend to reap using FFMPEG, I hope to reap more or less noticeably (after all, MPEG4 AVC (not to mention HEVC) should be much cooler than MPEG2 in DVD). Accordingly, the question is what parameters (CRF, presets, flags, etc.) to use.
