What are the current requirements for a frontend developer?

What knowledge and skills does a modern front-end developer need to have?
1) How well do you need to be able to typeset? Do I need knowledge of Photoshop and what exactly?
2) What technologies do you need to know?
3) What are typical front-end tasks?
4) Advise an interesting complex task to gain combat experience, maybe it makes sense to try to copy some well-known project.
5) What is worth trying to create a SPA? I tried Angular, but what worries me is that everything changed in the second version and the fate of all this seems vague to me. What do you think about Ember?
