What are the areas of development with a high threshold of entry and the possibility of freelancing / finding remote work?

Hello!
I looked in the direction of java - I read it, it seems that it’s not realistic to find orders except for android development. And there are already shkolota hanging out. I am looking for something more serious than website development and android development, in general, where you need to think really well and know a lot. At the same time, to be able to work remotely / freelance for Western customers.
Thank you!

I am looking for something more serious than website development and android development, in general, where you need to think really well and know a lot.

That is, you claim that those who make websites and mob. applications don't think very well and don't require special knowledge?!
And you - you can think better, but you can't find a job even as a freelancer?!
Problem (to start where you don't have to think):
Write an ALGORITHM for the subsequent coding of a random generator of levels of a given size for a game of sokoban that are exactly "passed" (solved).
If you write, and the ALGORITHM turns out to be correct, then you will answer your own question.

Look towards the largest freelance exchange upwork.com . Filter the list of projects by the technologies you are interested in, see what demand is for them and make any decision from this.

After all, you can take on difficult tasks on upwork, where shkolota will be automatically eliminated.

And why is the creation of sites not a serious matter then? Recently they threw off the TK with a budget of 690 thousand rubles.
Everywhere there are beginners and just lazy people, in any field there are responsible and pros who get good salaries.
