What are the AR solutions for visualizing future layouts?

Hello!
Suppose there is a certain apartment without finishing (bare concrete walls). I want to show the person how this apartment will look after finishing, i.e.

  • with painted walls (or wallpaper),
  • furniture and
  • modified walls (there may be walls that do not yet exist, as well as existing walls can be demolished).

You need to make some kind of application that will allow you to show how this room will look like after the repair (with the eyes of a person he sees what is now, and on the tablet screen - how it will look after the repair).
What solutions are there for this, other than the ones listed below?
  • Augment : It seems to allow me to do what I need, but there is no way to import a drawing of the apartment (so that I can walk around it and see how everything will be after the repair).
  • Homestyler : Same.
  • Roomle : Ask for pricing for their AR solutions. I wrote, but it is not known whether they will answer and it is not known whether their software is sharpened for this.

Thanks in advance

Update 1 (12/28/2017) Vuforia Ground Plane
seems to be part of the solution. The site says that this functionality allows you to place augmented reality objects on flat surfaces, including on the floor. Addendum 2 (12/31/2017) I tried to make a minimal project on Vuforia in Unity in emulation mode according to this guide . The project code is here .

In emulation mode, augmented reality should work without being deployed to a mobile device. Allegedly, it is enough to press the "Play" button in Unity and point the camera at the Ground plane marker (a piece of paper with a kind of QR code). After that, a certain object should have been drawn on the screen next to this piece of paper. That did not happen.

I thought the problem was with the quality of the webcam image. I tried another one, in which the picture quality seems subjectively better:

Again it did not work. I thought my hands were crooked and tried to run the example from the Unity Asset Store.
Again does not work. If anyone knows how to fix this (make a certain 3-dimensional object appear in a certain place relative to a paper marker on a regular laptop), then I would appreciate the help.
