What are the alternatives to Writeboard?

Recently, 37signals shut down Writeboard. For those who don’t know, it was such a service for co-editing texts. There you could create a notepad, provide a link with a password to a colleague, and he could edit the text, while the entire history was saved (similar to Wiki).
Now the whole thing is closed and you have to use Google Docs or wiki in Redmine. However, these paths have several disadvantages:
- From Google Docs, then it's quite problematic to pull out HTML.
- Do not invite an outsider to the wiki with access only to a specific document. We use Redmine for the wiki because it supports Markdown.
Are there alternatives to Writeboard? Preferably with Markdown support. The path is even paid. I searched myself, I didn't find anything. The search is complicated by the fact that the query "Writeboard alternatives" does not give you what you are looking for :)

Perhaps moinmoin with its ACL, but the first version is obsolete for a long time, and the second one is still in development.
Google docs is gone, there is google drive, and for it there is a whole set of applications , perhaps one of them will help you solve your problems.

So 37 signals themselves offer an alternative . For the money, it seems, but there should be a free plan.
