What are tasks used for in WebStorm?

I am learning this IDE. And I discovered that there is such a tool as "Tasks & Contexts". But I don't fully understand what purpose it serves. A commit can be created using another built-in utility. What is Tasks for then?

Task = branch + context + change list + commit.
It's just such a handy thing for grouping changes. You can use all of the above individually, or as a package like this.
