Now we need to quickly raise a simple community with an uncluttered interface.
I immediately thought about punBB - but somehow I got fed up with it over these decades :D And I want more extensibility.

In general, what would you recommend from open source?
Of course, I am also familiar with the main engines like SMF, but maybe there are some "rising stars")) that are still little known, but just on this topic.
