What are engines for?

Help me figure out what joomla is for? So I made the site adaptive, cross-browser, and I can stupidly lay it out on the hosting and it will work there.

You've done the layout. Believe me, websites are much more than a set of html. And sometimes, in order not to reinvent the wheel, they use CMS.
For example, you need a feedback form, for this you will add a php script on the server and interaction with html. This is a simple task and can be written by hand.
But if you need to keep a record of feedback participants, have feedback status and simply collect everything in the database, then this is already a bigger task. It is better to implement it with the help of CMS.
You need an online store. You can use ready-made solutions in CMS, or develop manually from scratch. What do you choose? And you should choose an option that, looking into the future, will be faster and cheaper to maintain and develop (+ a few more reasons at your discretion).

If I understand correctly, you did the layout. but not the site. Yes. you can put it on hosting.
Let's say you have a regular news site. Now imagine that you need to write 100 articles. and for each article there should be its page. comments, then a page with a list of these news. how will you do them? make it yourself? every page?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
