What (and how) to study to become a system administrator?
I know it's a bit of a dumb question, but still...
With an "Advanced User" computer, I recently switched to Linux (Debian).
Friends advised me to read about networks (TCP / IP) to begin with (the book "Computer Networks Top-Down Approach" by James Kurose and Keith Ross)
But what's next? Read? many say that you need to practice - on what and what?
there was an idea to get a job somewhere as an enikey worker, but because of age, not really anyone wants to (16 years old)
Thanks in advance for the advice.

This question has been repeated here many times.
I myself searched and myself advised people.
I also looked at the courses that were offered to me here, but the best option was this
nodesquad.blogspot.co.il/2013/04/blog-post.html
Use it, this is a storehouse of information with a lot of practice and self-study.
Set up several services at home.
DHCP, FTP, web server (nginx and apache), raise a simple site engine, for which you need to configure the web server + mysql + php bundle
Set up automatic backups to start with cron and the usual .tgz of critical data.
Learn bash and make a script that will do this with checks and removal of old versions.
Then you can read about rsnapshot
Then install zabbix and try to monitor something like free disk space.
You can also learn iptables and do a couple of actions - close some ports from some IPs, forward some port for another machine (maybe a virtual one).
After that, you will be already quite more than a junior.
I will add 5 kopecks too
