In our training center, they also teach Yandex Direct, and we openly tell everyone that parsers are not needed for Direct. For SEO, yes it is possible.
The use of parsers indicates that you want to make a huge core, but there is no point in this, because. super-narrow queries will fall into the "Low impressions" status, and wide queries can be found in wordstat without the use of special tools.
Therefore, most likely your training program is simply not relevant.
