The glasses are passive there, what kind of 3D images does it digest: vertical stereo pair, horizontal stereo pair, anaglyph, vertical anamorphic stereo pair, horizontal anamorphic stereo pair, BD3D?
Anaglyph - sort of like using paper glasses with red and blue lenses. What films will go for this TV, can I buy the wrong disc?

Since LG's 3D technology is interlaced, each eye sees a picture with a vertical resolution of 540 lines. At the same time, the horizontal remains 1920.
Therefore, vertical stereo pairs are best suited for LG - they have just such a resolution of 1920x540.
If you download a horizontal one, then each eye will see the picture all the same 540 lines vertically, but at the same time, the horizontal clarity will be halved in the input signal - up to 960. As a result, in this version the picture will be 960x540. Which is clearly bullshit.
