Weird Windows Defender error
Last night on a laptop, and today on a PC, this error of the built-in antivirus in Windows 8 began to come out:
I searched for the error code - they write that you need to restart the Windows Defender service, it is running. There are no "tweaks" in the system, everything works properly. The system is licensed, that is, there are no tricky breakers. The laptop did not turn on for a week at all, and the error got out there too. How to check a computer? Maybe I'm not looking in Google and the problem is massive due to some crooked signature update?

Who has the same problem - we update the signatures manually, I just tried again - version 1.145.1493.0, the problem was solved on both machines
After your question, I launched a check in the defender, the service fell in the same way. Seems like a massive problem.
