Websocket server with persistent connection?

Good night everybody. The task was to make the functionality of the site "live" (server in php), this includes, in addition to messages, all sorts of likes, reposts and the like (this is very important, a simple web socket server with 1 on 1 chat does not suit me) with a constant, stable connection . With what can this be done? I used reactPhp, it's something, it didn't really work for me
