Website testing in browsers of different versions

Good time of the day!

Faced with the need to test the site in different browsers and different versions of browsers, IE 7 and higher is especially interesting. Google on this occasion leads to sites that no longer provide such services, the antivirus makes round eyes at the found collections of portable browsers and asks why I put this zoo of viruses on my hard drive.

Hence the question, who uses what to test the operation of sites in different versions of browsers?

Our tester uses VirtualBox =) Yes, it takes longer, more expensive, but the result will be 100% accurate and correct.

For testing sites in ie7-9, with rare exceptions, only ie9 is enough.

ie 8 - 9 can be configured to display earlier versions (press F12, in the window that appears, select the desired browser mode)
