Website Active Area Minimum Width

In the layout, the site is 1020px wide. For the theme of the site (content-photo project), this is not quite enough. I want to increase it to 1181px.
I have two monitors. One at 1920px - the site looks perfect at 1181px. On the second one at 1440px, there is very little space left from the edges, but it still looks good.
The question is, is it possible to safely increase to such a size?

@iiil

For this theme of the site, I would safely use 1200, i.e. 1181 is fine.

@Zoxon

Make floating width min-width: 1024px; max-width: 1181px

The layout is designed for a resolution of 1024px wide. So it is necessary to do strictly according to the layout.
For your information: at the moment, users with a monitor width of 1024px - 8.3% and with an unspecified resolution (tablets) - 35%. It's still not a small percentage.

You can always find the best solution for layout and fit in the right size and not touch what is already working))
Despite the fact that many have already changed their monitors to large ones, there is still a certain percentage of visitors with small monitors, it depends on the theme of the site. For example, if this is a wholesale online metal-roll store, in which the main customer is 30-45 years old, the percentage of people with small monitors can reach up to 15%, do you want to lose these customers? I think no.
And do you think all site visitors open it in fullscreen?
I would also like to note that the 960grid system is not becoming less popular, which also says a lot.
