Webcam freezes, what could be the problem?

Greetings!
Notebook Lenovo Z50-70 following configuration: Intel Core i5 4210U, 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM,Hybrid 500GB HDD(8GB SSD), NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2GB. OS - Windows 7 Professional N, SP1 (x64).
Webcam problem. When talking on Skype, the image from the laptop camera constantly freezes. The indicator that the camera is working will blink, and after that the image freezes (i.e. my interlocutor sees a "frozen" picture of me). You have to turn the video on and off. All this is repeated at different time intervals. Sometimes it is possible to talk normally for about 15 minutes without problems, sometimes such a problem occurs literally every 20 - 30 seconds, which, of course, is extremely unpleasant and inconvenient.
I took the driver for the webcam from the manufacturer's website (latest version):Camera Driver (AVC, Bison) . Tried reinstalling the driver, didn't help.
Then I tried to remove it permanently. Windows after that carried out "installation of new hardware" and put some of its standard driver. (Here's what it looks like ). Alas, with him the problem has not disappeared, it still freezes periodically. Therefore, I assume that the problem is still in the hardware (camera), and not in the driver.
Can you tell me what could be the problem and how to fix it? The laptop is new, bought just a few days ago. Maybe you should not suffer and just try to replace it? (True, I suspect that the store will say that the problem is somewhere with me and will not take the laptop back) d

Most likely the problem is in the camera. And the problem is clearly with iron.
If there is an opportunity to exchange and be sure that they will exchange, then go for it!)
But if you are not sure, then try tilting the laptop cover at different angles, 180, 170, 130,110, etc. and test the camera. Maybe in some position it will work without problems. Then most likely the problem is in the cable or the camera board.
Do not forget to look in other programs for performance, to test some video messenger.
Well, if you don’t want to get hemorrhoids, then buy another webcam, in the region of 800-2000 you can buy excellent webcams. But the meaning of the laptop (portability) and its aesthetics are lost ((

I think that we must first separate the flies from the cutlets .. That is, the hardware from the software. Connect an external webcam, if the situation does not change - the drivers or Windows are to blame. If everything is in order - the camera is to blame, then feel free to hand it over under warranty.
