Why does the monitor flicker (on and off) when I turn on the computer?
Hello, yesterday when I turned on the computer, the monitor began to turn on and off, rebooting helped fix this problem for a day. At night I put the computer into sleep mode, in the morning when I turned it on again the same problem, again I had to restart the computer. I found a similar problem on YouTube, here's a video so you can clearly see my problem - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3BSc0Rcc0g

One of the possible reasons is a problem with the high-voltage screen backlight converter in the monitor, namely, the electrolytic capacitors have dried up (you can immediately see that they are swollen). In a similar case, I just pulled similar conders from the available trash, but soldered it.
Start by replacing components (in order of likely failures - monitor, video card, power supply, RAM). And visually inspect, and if there is an appropriate device, then measure the capacitors. Well, it’s very strong that some of them have already dried up.
Here are the possible reasons: dry condensates (check if they are swollen), a problem with the video card (if possible - check if it works with another video card, connect a tighter wire (hdmi, dvi, etc.), also if possible - try with another cable), maybe the RAM is also buggy
