Web studios, how do you find clients?
Good day to all.
How do you find clients? What types of advertising are most relevant at the moment?

I would do the following:
1. Search for clients, as mentioned above, through a sales manager and direct PR services, i.e. advertising in the city, metro, buses, etc. In our city, they even buy advertising billboards for a lot of money.
2. Constant monitoring of exchanges a la freelance, weblancer and foreign ones to search for clients there
3. Search and receipt of tenders (here it already depends on the presence of acquaintances, name) from large companies, state corporations and other things. Such projects bring a lot of money, long-term development and almost constant orders.
4. This is the name that you earn on already created orders. For example, give a 10% discount to a client who has already contacted you once. Let him pass the discount to his friends.
5. Online conferences, participation in all sorts of meetings of developers and web studios, thereby engaging in self-promotion.
6. PR through city media and websites under the auspices of some topic.
Well, here it is at least. And then you can dig deeper and deeper there :) For example, direct agreements with companies engaged in IT outsourcing, but without a web development department.
I think that various outsourcing exchanges, such as oDesk , free-lance.ru , etc. , are relevant for small web studios now ... I know from my own example that it is quite possible to find large endless projects for serious teams there.
This is a long and painstaking job, including developing your site, focusing on your strengths, promoting your site, publishing your portfolio, making connections, publishing your successful solutions wherever possible.
Word of mouth works well here. If you made someone a good site, then this client will definitely bring friends and after a while he himself will ask for new functionality.
There is another good sales channel - called affiliate program (affiliate program) , with well-planned parameters, it brings the company's turnover significantly more than regular salespeople will find ...
For our studio (web-studio IT Web), the largest number of clients is brought by a sarafan ... make good sites, don't break prices for them and there will be clients!
