Hello! And so, there was a little confusion. Recently I discovered a program for preliminary sketches of a project, this is Fireworks. But why then do we need Ps, Ai and others?

All these programs are just tools.
If you look in a home tools store, you may be surprised, but even there are 5-10 varieties of hammers.
Work on what suits you best. Well, PS and AI work with a raster and a vector, that is, already DIFFERENT things.
Don't forget that besides web design there are a lot of things where you need to draw, draw and work with graphics.
