Warehouse lift development

Hello!
It is necessary to build a small lift for a small warehouse. The lift must lift, remove from and put on the shelves containers sized 50x40x40cm and weighing up to 30 kg. A person must move (in the future, of course, on his own). Containers stand on the same racks with the same height. The height of the rack is 2.5 meters. The container in the upper part has an edge, for which it can be hooked with a pitchfork, lifted and dragged out of the shelf and rushed down. The lift must have an electric drive, the storekeeper's manual work should be left only to roll this lift around the room.

My problem now is to find the necessary components: gearmotors, linear guides, gear racks, etc., preferably from Russian suppliers, make drawings, make parts and assemble everything together.

The question, actually, is how such a lift can be built in general, what components to use, maybe there will be tips, ideas.

Thank you.

And what prevents you from hanging containers on rails and making a platform for the upper level at a height of 1-1.5 meters? It's just that you have more of a problem with proper storage than the need for such lifts. Maybe it makes sense to look at open shelving with an edge or even at economy panels with hooks?

Are you doing something like this: habrahabr.ru/post/140361/ ?
We once wanted to make a robot ... The choice fell on Android + IOIO (Java programming). But they never did anything...

The depth of the rack, the type and shape of the edge for the forklift are not indicated. Depending on the outreach of the forks of the lift, the mass and location of the counterweight, the design load of the structure are determined.
How many shelves are on the rack, is the step different for each shelf, or is it constant.
How is the lowest of the containers located (height of the shelf, or on the floor), whether it is necessary to lift them for a lift for further transportation.
Ceiling height, the simplest design will be a single rigid guide, more than 2.5 m long (preferably 3-3.2 meters).

The aisles are narrow in places, the loader will have nowhere to roll back, but for the first version, you can get by with moving vertically.

By the way, how wide is the aisle? For industrial loaders, the passage must be at least 4.5 meters, the forks, the lift itself (with a counterweight) and the person who pulls all this economy on himself must fit here. Well, there’s still a gap so that you don’t have to work hard.

passage about 2 metro. 50 cm - container, 50 cm - the loader itself, 60 cm - to roll it back and lower the container. The forklift is supposed to be on wheels that can turn 360 degrees, like supermarket carts, so that the forklift can be moved without turning.

in principle, only from the upper ones, those that stand above 120 cm.

the essence of what is happening is that the containers contain items that the storekeeper must get out of the container. in the upper containers you have to climb a ladder or pull them out with your hands on the floor. it takes a lot of time and effort. a lift would have simplified this task: I quickly took out the container, found what I needed, put it back.

And the last - the speed of movement of the carriage. The smaller it is, the less powerful the engine is required, it is better to set the container to a certain height. According to the link above, gearmotors are single-speed, which means that a low speed is required to get into the gap with a container, but to lower the container down, the speed will be the same. If we estimate approximately 3 cm / sec, then it will take 43 seconds to move from a height of 2.5 meters to 1.2.
With more speed it will be more difficult to hit.

And why not push off from prom. models of any escorted stacker? Then there will be no problems with components. And the drawings, I think, can be found.
Or do you want to build something unique?
