A treadmill for work at the table?
I want a treadmill for walking while working at my desk.
As far as this is a good idea - please do not discuss, I'm ready to try.
The main problem is that there are no tracks without a rack,
and therefore, most likely, you will have to saw off both legs of the rack.
As I see the requirements:
- cheap, but at the same time reliable enough so that it does not break
- a small step of changing speed (to make it easier to select the speed for work)
- folding (it's great if the "handrails" at the base can be detached)
- a small control unit (its have to keep on the table)
What models makes sense to consider?

In general, I bought a track, redid it, worked every working day for 2-3 hours on the track at a speed of 5 km / h for 5 months.
I am more than satisfied with the result, the load is normal, I measured it with a chest heart rate monitor, the pulse is from 80 beats / sec without additional. aerobic exercise, which gives a minimum of about 250-300 calories per hour of additional costs.
The body likes it much more than sitting, not infrequently, and worked like that for 5 hours a day.
Out of habit, there was a slight discomfort from the unusualness of what was happening, after a couple of weeks I got used to it and stopped noticing it.
The only advice for those who will try - do not incline the track for more than an hour - there is a load on the sacrum, but with a slight inclination, the pulse can easily be more than 100.
Concentration may drop if the task is very difficult or sleepless or tired, it is solved by lowering the speed from 5 to 4 km / h.
Good luck to all!
