VPN: “your own” vs ready-made solution?

Всем Доброго Времени Суток. Изначально хотел уложить все свои вопросы в один большой - но получилась слишком уж длинная простыня текста. Кроме того, хоть они и связаны между собой (и по сути - являются серией вопросов на +- одну тематику) - мне всё-таки показалось что их нельзя задавать в "теле" одного вопроса, потому как "направления" их - несколько отличаются. Если я что-то напутал - искренне прошу понять/простить ... ) Итак.

Проблема в том - что навыки работы с ПК у меня - на уровне "амёбы обыкновенной": могу сам подобрать железо, собрать его в единое целое, установить Ось (Windows) и дрова, настроить всё это дело (Google-помощь и глупые вопросы на форумах). Но на этом - мои полномочия - всё. ((( Так или иначе:

My main concern is safety.

Traffic both from your own vpn and from a ready one will be logged as much as possible. Always. With no exceptions. So just take the PIA tariff and don't do anything super illegal like downloading child porn and you'll be fine.
