Hey!
I took care of the safety of gadgets using random WiFi points provided by cafes and the metro. At work, you also have to use a network without encryption at all.
I used a simple scheme for a couple of months - I bought an external ip from a home provider for 140 rubles / month, and set up a secure vpn server on my home mikrotik rb751u, to which I successfully connected anywhere in the city.
Does the scheme have the right to exist, or is it better to buy vpn from other companies?
