VMWare Workstation requires root. How to run as superuser?

Good afternoon!
On the host OS Debian 10, VMWare Workstation PRO (gui) is installed, inside of which several more linux-like systems are running. Everything works, but there is a need to give virtual machines access to a physical disk and change something else in the settings.
When adding a physical disk to a virtual machine, the settings window says " You must be running as root to change... "

So, in fact, the question is: how to run VMWare Workstation (guy) on a host with Debian 10 OS on behalf of RTH?
Tried:
1. sudo vmware - did not help
In the console output: "display not set: 0", VMWare window does not open
2. set suid - did not help
When launched through the console / shortcut, VMWare tries to start, several processes appear in htop and close

. Good people, tell me how to get the hypervisor to work on behalf of RTH? How to change the settings available only to RTH?

This error "In console output: "display not set: 0", VMWare window does not open" should be run in an xterm such as one running in an X server. And you are probably trying to run from the console.
