How to install drivers on Intel HD2500 in Mint 17.1?
Help me please. There is a laptop with a Celeron 1037U processor and integrated graphics. Installed fresh Mint 17.1 Cinnamon x64. I really want to switch from Windows to Linux, but at the same time play DOTA2. Steam installed, loaded the game, but when I start the menu, everything is red and with artifacts. It's the same in the game itself. I would like to fix everything. Because I think it's about firewood, I started googling hard. Intel's official website sends for firewood here . But, unfortunately, my Linux skills are not great, and I could not figure out how to get what I wanted from there. So I'm asking for help with this problem.

What kernel do you have: output uname -a here
Well, I have it on Xubuntu 14.04 and it works https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads/2014/intelr... Accordingly, download for 14.04 x64
If it does not fit, then of course you can put the latest https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ubuntu... Everything is written in the ppa description. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!
In the worst case, you can cancel this with ppa-purge ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
Tried, but he swears on incompatibility with my distribution kit.
