VMware Workstation 12 Pro pause saved to hard drive or RAM?

I have this issue, everything is working fine. Only when I put it I wondered where it stores these suspended guest OSes. By Google, I found a site in which they said that you can choose how to save the state on the HDD and on the RAM, and this is all in the settings, but I didn’t see such a switch there, who knows where it is?

@SH0N

this is very easy to check, start the task manager before starting the virtual machine, see how much RAM is eaten, and then with the virtual machine and turn off the virtual machine and we see a decrease in the occupied RAM, which means saving to the HDD

VMware suspended virtual machine state (.vmss)
