Good day to all,
I ran into some difficulties when trying to set up maxView for Vmvar.
The situation is as follows, following the official murzilka from Adaptek, the components were installed on the esxi host, on which the Centos 6.4 guest is installed on which StorMan-1.02.esx86_64.bin is installed.
So, it does not want to log in to any address https://yourip:8443/maxview/manager/login.xhtml , writes "Invalid username or password.".
There are several references on the net regarding this misunderstanding, but so far I have not found any solutions.
There is nothing suspicious in the Tomcat logs either.
Who is to blame and what to do?

SOLUTION of the problem with the inability to log in:
In /etc/hosts, register your host
Otherwise, in the Java logs, we have InetAddress.getLocalHost() throws UnknownHostException and nothing works
