VK widgets - how to solve the encoding problem in Opera 12.16?
Widgets from vk (comments, community) are built into the site. Site encoding - utf-8.
Judging by firebug, VKontakte gives widgets in windows-1251 encoding.
In all browsers everything is fine, except for Opera 12.16 and below (question marks instead of Russian letters).
I tried to add when connecting api <script charset="windows-1251" ... >
It did not help.
Any ideas?

Change font? I have a toaster and some other sites in Opera 12 show crap instead of symbols, for example, at the moment I am writing in squares. And this despite the fact that other fonts are forcibly specified in user styles.
I recommend forgetting old versions of browsers. Many versions of the new Opera line have already been released, even the official developers do not support the old one, so I recommend just forgetting about it.
