Visual Studio Code. Backspace does not work in the editor. How to fix?

Visual Studio Code on Debian. Backspace does not work in the editor, in the terminal.
First demolished all plugins. Did not help. Then I reinstalled, removing the clean one first. Did not help.
The solutions that I managed to google basically boil down to this. But it didn't help.
What to do? Who knows - teach ...

Problem solved. It's all about the "human factor".
When I assigned my hotkeys, I did not notice how "backspace" + first hit one of them ....
And it began ...
Code hears "backspace" and waits for other clicks. Doesn't wait... and doesn't do anything.
So actually "backspace" doesn't work.
Everything is very simple.
