Visual Studio 2017 Strange behavior, are all files sent somewhere?

Hello.
Can anyone come across this: when any change is made to any file in a project, Visual Studio 2017 displays the status "Processing..... (xxx remaining)" at the bottom left?
It looks like this:

Sometimes there are thousands of files.
Or is it the tricks of some of the addons / plugins?
