Virtual machines in the clouds - all OS - storage?

There is an idea to create your own storage on the Internet.
Dropbox paid - not enough space.
I will store:

  • Video
  • music
  • Sources

Snapshot capabilities are needed.
I want to create a fault-tolerant storage on the Internet in a way that is as easy to expand as possible.
For example, now I need 5 GB of space, in 10 minutes I need 10 GB, and in a day 250 GB. And next week, I suddenly realized that 25GB was enough for me.
Now I see only two technologies - ZFS, BTRFS. Are there any other options?
I will build the client part myself.
And the most important question - what clouds will allow me to raise opensolaris?

@zizop

1.
Install the virtual machine 2. Share the directory
3. Mount it (smb/ftp/ssh).
4. Profit! :-)
If you need more, increase the size of the block device and do resize2fs.
Will it fit?
