.vimrc not firing when opening a new tab in MacVim?

Good evening.
I'm using MacVim with Janus installed. There is a line in .vimrc set rnu.
I ran into an interesting problem: when a new window is opened, relative line numbering works (actually, rnu), but when a new tab is opened, the usual sequential numbering is turned on.
Tell me how to make absolutely all windows and tabs work with relative line numbering?
