Video card memory expansion?

Rtx 3070 aorus master 8gb.
Maybe someone will tell. Samsung memory chips are mounted on the board. There are (prepared) empty spaces for the same memory chips. Soon there will be a release of cards of the 3rd series but with a large amount of memory of 16 GB for the 3070. I think that neither the board nor the cooling nor the power supply will differ. Is it possible to upgrade by buying chips and firmware?
