Between "I think that the usual 100 Mbps will not be enough." and "with a throughput of 1 Gbit / s?" there are about 900 mbps.
For example, hetzner/ovh give 200/250 guaranteed bandwidth (with a gigabit network card, of course) per piece of hardware (from 30EUR).
When you need exactly 1gbps - go to 100tb, in fact, they easily pump that much.
