Using RxJS with node?

Yuzaya angular quite liked the RxJS library that he even thought about using it on the back. Has anyone used RxJS in node applications? Does it make sense to replace the default EventEmmiter with RxJS?

I don't see any problems. But on the other hand, where will so many events come from, except perhaps sockets.
