Using PDO for MongoDB?

You can consider me a complete zero in programming (and, in general, it is), I studied what PDO is and I just can’t understand, it won’t work with MongoDB?
And are there any ready-made classes for working with Mongo (as, for example, there are plenty of them for working with MySQL)?

The above MongoClient, for example, does not work on php 7 yet, if it matters
