Using Homebrew on MacOS?

Please explain the specifics of a project like Homebrew.
Is Homebrew safe to use compared to the relative safety of the official repositories of major Linux distributions? Are packages qualitatively checked for malware?
Which way is better to install software: official software installers from project sites or from Homebrew?
I am currently interested in such software packages as:
1. Python
2. Git
3. Docker
Are there packages with GUI? How are they placed? I heard something about the X server under OS X, but I really don’t know anything.

Homebrew flickers on projects like DigitalOcean or Heroku.
I use it myself and have no complaints.

git is installed along with xcode, docker was installed via dmg from the site, python (sort of) comes out of the box.
I've been using OSX recently, but I didn't even think that there were flaws in homebrew.

The trouble with git is that in xcode, that in brew junk. Yes, and official packages are not collected as quickly as we would like.
Homebrew costs and even installed something through it, at least wget and zsh
