Using environment variables in zabbix?

There is a huge fleet of computers running Windows (POS terminals). They have specialized software that writes logs to %appdata%/POS/logs/error.log
I want to make a template that will access these files and monitor them. The problem is that usernames are different everywhere (i.e. %appdata% returns different data everywhere).
How to make such a template?

Make a symbolic link with the same path.
