I received a letter with an invitation to dinner from an upwork ambassador in Moscow.
I know that they organize conferences, but this is the first time I hear about dinner
. Did anyone go to such events in past years and / or other cities?

I went to NG events in Moscow, they organize bowling there and snacks are usually quite a normal topic in terms of talking with colleagues on professional topics and on any other.
It is organized by local freelancers themselves, so I understand that upwork has a small budget for this in some cities and on a voluntary basis, one of the freelancers collects everyone. 10-15 people come, go get acquainted, talk with the people, who freelances on what, and so on.
