Upwork or Office - where to start?

Hey! Studied HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, WP. Spoken English. In the future, I want to learn how to program in JavaScript. The initial goal is to create websites, landings. Now I'm working on creating websites. At the moment there is little practical experience.
Hence the question arose, where is it better to start recruiting: work in the office or still try yourself on Upwork?
I just don’t know what teams among programmers, it’s clear that I myself should look for everything if I don’t know how to do it, but if there’s absolutely no one to ask and find out, then the difference between Upwork and the office is a little one-on-one stay with the client.

90% of IT companies are doing the same freelancing (some even on the same upwork).
if you have at least some little qualities of a seller -> then go to freelancing.
earnings will be many times higher for the same amount of work, and all these tales that the level is growing somehow stronger in the office are complete crap.
You have to be a complete moron to refuse 3-5 times higher rates for free cookies, coffee.
your level depends on you and what you do, and not on your colleagues (moreover, there are tens of thousands of potential colleagues on the Internet, what's the point of focusing on someone who, for example, sits against you?)
